OJ: Made in America

A worthy winner of this year's Academy Award for Best Documentary, Ezra Edelman's OJ: Made in America clocks in at a record breaking 463 minutes and yet remains totally gripping throughout as it charts the dramatic fall from grace of Orenthal James Simpson in microscopic detail setting it in context amid the deeply troubled history of race relations in America.

The monster running time is fully justified when you consider the amount of fascinating archive footage of OJ's life in existence.. not only the famous white Bronco car chase and the live televised murder trial (a trial that lasted 11 months) but also the football games, the chat show appearances, the films & commercials and even CCTV footage of the Las Vegas robbery that finally saw him put behind bars in 2007.
